The A4 is based on a standard anvil cut, but here Vesco has updated the engineering. The cutting blade pulls back slightly as it cuts, helping to hold the branch in place and increasing the efficiency of the cut. Also, the 'anvil' is easy-to-replace aluminum attachment, cutting down on weight (and fatigue) and making even quick field repairs possible. The rest of the engineering are all typical class-leading Vesco: hot-forged tempered high-carbon blades for lighter weight and higher strength, aluminum-alloy rubber-coated handles with lock, adjustable blades with inner grease groove. The A4 comes with two handle configurations, this one is designed for smaller hands.
