The Valencian Institute for Agricultural Research (IVIA) has certified that by using these particular picking scissors it is possible to reduce light damage by 64%, average damage by 33% and serious damage by 50%.
This type of damage, in most cases, is not detected in quality checks and the fruit arrives at the final destination as rotten.
